VIZBI is the premier conference for biological data visualization — it's where scientists and designers who sit at that intersection go to push each other. I submitted 'Illuminating Cryo-EM' and won Best Poster Award in 2024. This wasn't a client project — it was my own exploration of how to make cryo-EM beautiful and legible to a scientific audience simultaneously. It's probably the truest expression of why I do this work. I had the privilege of meeting my hero, David Goodsell, the inspiration of modern molecular visualization.
